Good Questions
FAQ
everything first-timers ask
I've never meditated. Can I just show up?
Yes — please do. Every class marked beginner-friendly assumes zero experience, teachers give full instruction, and your first class is free. Nobody will ask you to chant, believe, or bend anything.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothing you can sit or lie in. We provide mats, cushions, bolsters, blankets, and tea. Bring a water bottle if you like; leave your shoes (and ideally your phone) at the door.
Is the center accessible?
The building, both practice halls, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and chair-based options are offered in every class. Tell us about any access needs when booking and we'll prepare the room.
Is this religious?
No. Our teaching is secular and science-informed. We name and credit the contemplative traditions our practices come from, but no belief is required — skeptics are some of our favorite students.
What if I fall asleep in a sound bath?
Congratulations — your nervous system did exactly what it needed. Gentle snoring is a fully accepted part of the soundscape.
Are classes safe during pregnancy or with a health condition?
Most practices are gentle, but check with your care provider first, and let your teacher know before class. Some breathwork styles are modified or skipped during pregnancy; we'll guide you.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes — up to 4 hours before class for a full credit, from the link in your confirmation email. Retreat deposits are refundable up to 30 days out.
Do you offer private or corporate sessions?
Both. Private meditation, reiki, and sound sessions can be booked with any practitioner, and we run recurring workplace programs on-site or at your office.
